This privacy policy explains how MuktaMani (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit or buy from muktamani.com.
Information we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, mobile number, delivery address, the items you buy and any notes you add.
- Payment details: online payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay, and UPI payments can also be made directly from your UPI app. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank login details. We only keep the payment reference so we can match your payment to your order.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used to keep the site secure. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser.
- Anonymous visit statistics: which pages and products are viewed and added to cart, the type of device and the website that referred you, linked only to a random ID stored in your browser – never to your name, email or IP address.
How we use it
To process and deliver your orders, confirm payments, send order updates, answer your questions, send newsletters you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time), prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with courier partners (to deliver your order), our payment partner (to process your payment), our email provider (to send order updates) and our hosting provider (to run the website). We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes, and other information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to marketing, by contacting us. We will respond as required under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
